The Swanton Historical Society is the recipient of the 1996 Award of Merit for Excellence in Society Operations, the 1999 Preservation Trust of Vermont, and the year 2000 League of Local Historical Societies Award of Excellence for the Swanton on Move Project.
The Swanton Historical Society is a non-profit organization open to membership of everyone dedicated to the appreciation and preservation of Swanton’s history.
